My response on my own website. Appreciation is a wonderful thing Thanks For Post which have lot of knowledge and informataion thanks Nice post! This is a very nice blog that I will definitively come back to more times this year! Thanks for the informative post. Latest Software :. Home uTorrent 3. Nero Multimedia Suite Platinum HD e great multimedia package 3 in 1 for editing video, burning and backup.

First install nero multimedia suite 10 trial using the nero multimedia suite 10 trial. I thought this would be a good upgrade because of the blu-ray player included. The program installed in about 20 minutes, then upgraded for about three hours. All went well except it tried to install some Ask toolbar. I don't expect this from software that I paid for. I burned a dvd and that went well too. When I tried to play a Blu-ray movie is when I started having problems.

I get a message that it cannot play this media. I tried ten different blu-ray movies with the same result. I contacted tech support through the program because phone support costs a dollar and twenty cents per minute. They have not answered so I assume their support is as bad as their software. I tried to uninstall and re-install it but that went really bad. I had to do a System Restore to get my computer to start.

After that I installed the software without updating and it still won't play blu-ray. I installed the three hours of updates again and it still don't work.

Blu-rays play with other software I have on my computer so it is not the drive causing the problem. The drive has the latest firmware. Before you buy this software. You should look at the Nero support web site and see how much help it is. I will update this review if tech support ever answers and solves this problem.

Update Tech support finally contacted me by email. They had me send all information again then responded that my monitor and graphics card need to be HDCP compliant for this software to play blu-ray movies. I'm not sure what that means but I don't think I will buy a new monitor and card to make this work. I gave two stars because tech support did finally respond. I have used Nero since Nero 7 Ultra Edition was released. One reason for using Nero so exclusively was because burning movie DVDs and audio CDs were easy to set up, tweak, and burn.

I'm running an HP Pavilion computer with a 2. I have never had a problem burning DVDs using Nero's software, and the quality of the resulting discs have always been above expectations. It also allows the user to recode movies for standard 4.

It also allowed the user to choose to recode a movie to the hard drive before being burned to the DVD disc, which reduces the likelihood of ruining a perfectly good disc due to a recoding or read error. I can't say that about other multimedia suites that I've tried, which have rendered a few coasters. I've been using Nero 10 recently and liked it. Unfortunately my hard drive bit the dust, and I lost Nero When I replaced the drive, Nero 11 been released, so I decided to try it out.

Sadly, I found that Nero 10 marked an end to the intuitive interface and ease of use that Nero became famous for, at least for me.

Long-time Nero users who upgrade to either Nero 11 or 12 have to learn to use Nero all over again, and we have lost a lot of the important features that set Nero apart from and ahead of other multimedia suites. Based on my experience with a variety of competing DVD and CD copying and burning software suites, I have found that for dependability, ease of use, and quality output, Nero 10 Multimedia Suite Platinum HD is the most intuitive, tweakable, and dependable multimedia suite on the market.

Unless Nero brings back its intuitive user interface, Nero 10 will be the last version of Nero that I will use. When version 10 bites the dust for me, then I will have to find another multimedia suite to use. I have Nero 11 on one of my other machines, and it's fine
